How much space does a sitting hyperbaric chamber need?
The HS050 body measures 1600 × 650 × 1200 mm, so it needs a small floor area compared with a lying chamber. Leave extra room around it for the entrance and for the equipment.

How does a sitting hyperbaric chamber work?
An air compressor raises the pressure inside the chamber to 1.3 ATA. You breathe oxygen through a headset or facial mask while seated.

How long is a typical session?
The recommended session is 60 to 90 minutes. Always wait until the gauge reads 1 ATA before you open the zipper.

Is the chamber for one person?
Yes. The HS050 is a single-user chamber. Do not enter with another person or a child.

Can one person set it up and use it alone?
Yes. The chamber is designed for one-person setup and operation, and the manual walks through each step. Remove the internal metal frame to fold the chamber down for storage.

Is a sitting hyperbaric chamber portable?
Yes. The internal metal frame is removable and the soft-shell body folds down, so you can carry it and set it up like a camping chair. Use it only in a well-ventilated place away from open flames and smoking, because oxygen supports combustion.

Can children or infants use the chamber?
We do not recommend the chamber for infants or toddlers. Children should use it with caution, especially if they feel anxious in small or enclosed spaces. Ask a qualified physician before use, and an adult should always supervise.

Can I use the chamber if I feel anxious in small spaces?
Use caution. The chamber is an enclosed space, so people who are uneasy in enclosed spaces, including those with claustrophobia, should consult a physician first. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, stop the session by following the depressurization steps in the manual.
