A lying hyperbaric chamber is a soft-shell chamber you use while lying down. The HEAOCEAN HL050 is a single-user model that works at 1.3 ATA, so you can rest flat during a session.

Who is a lying chamber best for?
It suits people who prefer to rest or nap fully stretched out during a session. If you want to read or work upright, the sitting model (HS050) is a better fit.

How much space does a lying hyperbaric chamber need?
The HL050 (M size) measures Ø750 × 2000 mm, so it needs more floor space than a sitting chamber. Choose a flat, dry floor away from water, flames, and sharp objects, and leave extra room at the entrance and for the equipment.

How is it different from the sitting and sit-and-lie models?
All three are single-user chambers. The HL050 is used lying down only, the HC050 lets you switch between sitting and lying, and the HS050 is used upright only.

Is the chamber for one person?
Yes. The Sitting HS050, Sit-and-Lie HC050, and Lying HL050 are all single-user chambers. Do not enter with another person or a child.

Is the lying chamber portable?
Yes. The internal metal frame is removable and the soft-shell body folds down for storage and transport.

How does a hyperbaric chamber work?
An air compressor raises the pressure inside the chamber to 1.3 ATA. You breathe oxygen through a headset or facial mask while the chamber is pressurized.

How long should a session last?
The recommended session is 60 to 90 minutes. Always wait until the gauge reads 1 ATA before you open the zipper.

Can I set it up by myself?
Yes. The manual covers assembly, air hose connections, and gauge installation step by step. Run a no-load test on first use before anyone enters the chamber.

Can children or infants use the chamber?
We do not recommend the chamber for infants or toddlers. Children should use it with caution, especially if they feel anxious in small or enclosed spaces. Ask a qualified physician before use, and an adult should always supervise.

Can I use the chamber if I feel anxious in small spaces?
Use caution. The chamber is an enclosed space, so people who are uneasy in enclosed spaces, including those with claustrophobia, should consult a physician first. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, stop the session by following the depressurization steps in the manual.

Is it a medical device?
No. HEAOCEAN chambers are wellness and recovery products for general relaxation and personal wellness use. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, so consult a physician first if you have a health condition.
