What we set, why we set it, and how to switch it off.
Three cookies are strictly necessary — they keep your session alive and protect our quotation forms. Two are analytics cookies that tell us which product pages people actually read. Nothing else is set unless you turn it on.
If you press Reject all, every page, specification table and quotation form still works exactly the same. We simply will not know you visited.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. It lets the site recognise your browser on the next page or the next visit. Some cookies are deleted when you close the tab; others stay for a set period.
Cookies are not programs. They cannot read files on your device, and they cannot run code. We also use two related technologies — local storage, which keeps small values in your browser without an expiry date, and pixels, which are tiny images that report whether a page was opened. This policy covers all three.
Set by heaocean.com. We control what they contain and how long they last. Everything in the next table but the Google rows belongs to this group.
Set by another company whose service runs inside our pages — a video player, an analytics platform. That company controls the cookie, and its own policy applies alongside ours.
When you first open the site, a banner asks whether we may use cookies other than the strictly necessary ones. All optional categories start switched off.
All four categories are enabled, including analytics and marketing.
Only strictly necessary cookies are used. Every page, specification table and quotation form still works normally.
You enable categories one by one and can change your mind at any time.
We keep a record of each consent decision — the categories you allowed, the time, and the version of this policy that was shown to you. We keep it so we can demonstrate compliance; it is not used for marketing.

Video embeds on this site use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. YouTube cookies are only written once you press play. Where a third-party service is used, that provider acts as an independent controller for the data it collects.
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies. The setting is usually under Privacy or Site settings.

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends it, analytics and marketing cookies stay off by default and the banner does not ask you to opt in again.
The older Do Not Track (DNT) header is not standardised, so we do not rely on it. Use the banner, the footer link, or GPC instead.
One click to review or withdraw consent. Turning a category off deletes its cookies immediately — no email, no waiting.
No. Only the strictly necessary cookies are required, and those cannot be switched off because the site does not work without them. If you press Reject all, you can still browse every product page, open every specification table and submit a quotation request.
The pages look and behave exactly the same. We simply do not learn that you visited, so we cannot count your visit or see which page you left from. Nothing is blocked and no feature is disabled.
Yes. Click Cookie settings in the footer at any time. Turning a category off takes effect immediately and deletes the cookies in that category.
No. We do not sell personal data. Analytics data is aggregated and used to improve page structure and product information.
Your choice is stored in a cookie. Clearing cookies removes it, so the site has no record of your decision and asks again.
Not at present. The marketing category exists so that, if we begin advertising on Google or Meta, we can ask for your permission first rather than adding tags without notice.
