CIFIT 2026: the second-generation chamber makes its public debut
For four days in September, booth 1-216 was the first place anyone could sit inside our second-generation chamber. Here is what was on the floor, what changed, and what buyers actually asked.
Four days at booth 1-216
The 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade opened on 8 September at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Centre. CIFIT is one of the largest investment and trade events in the world, and it fills the venue end to end.
We brought the whole range: the Sitting, Sitting & Lying and Lying soft-shell chambers, plus the two-seat HS-500 hard shell. All of them were open to the public, not roped off behind glass — people could unzip a chamber, climb in and close the door behind them.
That open-door policy turned out to be the whole point. A specification sheet tells a buyer the working pressure and the footprint. It does not tell them whether the inside feels like a coffin. Almost everyone who stopped at the stand ended up asking some version of the same question, and the only honest way to answer it was to let them lie down and close the zip.
What changed on the second-generation unit
The headline of the show was the second-generation chamber, shown in public for the first time. The first generation was controlled from a panel on the outside: to change anything mid-session, someone had to lean in and reach for it. That is fine for a home user. It is a nuisance in a clinic running sessions back to back.
The new unit changes three things.
- 01 Control from inside the chamber Settings are driven from a phone app or by voice, so the person inside can adjust the session without unzipping, and staff do not have to reach into the chamber at all.
- 02 Every session on the record Pressure, oxygen concentration, temperature and elapsed time stream to the phone in real time. For an operator, that is a session log per customer — and something to show when a client asks what the machine actually did.
- 03 Booking, for operators running more than one room The companion app adds a location and time-slot booking module, so a customer can reserve a room in advance. This part is built for the Chinese market at launch; export availability is a conversation, not a promise.
What buyers asked
Four questions came up again and again, and they were not the ones a spec sheet answers.
How does it feel inside? Roomy, was the usual verdict — most people expected something tighter. How long is a session? That is set by the protocol you run rather than by the chamber, and we will share the schedule we recommend once we know how you intend to use it. Where does it go? A spare room, a treatment bay, a corner of a gym floor; the soft-shell formats fold down and the hard shell does not. What pressure? 1.3 ATA as standard, with 1.5 ATA available as a custom build.
The visitors were a mix: distributors scouting a category, clinic and spa owners looking at a second revenue line, and a fair number of people who had only seen a chamber on television and wanted to know what the fuss was about.
Built to a standard, not to a price
Everything on the stand is developed and manufactured to QB/T 8049-2024, China's light-industry standard for micro-pressure oxygen chambers. Behind that sit the certifications the factory holds: ISO 13485:2016 for the medical device quality management system and ISO 9001:2015 alongside it, with CE (LVD and EMC), RoHS and PSE covering the electrical side.
None of that is a claim about the product being a medical device. These are wellness chambers for relaxation and recovery, and we say so on the product pages as well as here. What the certificates do say is that the factory is audited, the process is written down, and the paperwork exists if you want to read it.
What happens next
The show is over; the follow-up is not. If you stopped at booth 1-216 and we owe you a quotation, it is in progress. If you did not make it to Xiamen, the same range is available for inspection at the factory — and a single set is enough to start.
Ask about the 2026 range
Tell us the market, the room you have and the quantity you are considering. We will come back with the model that fits, the price band and the lead time — in writing, usually within one working day.
